Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings or boneless thighs
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 6 TBS tomato paste
  • 2 TBS apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 TBS liquid aminos or Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 TBS keto maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp maple extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar sweetener I use brown monkfruit sweetener
  • 2 TBS room temperature water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place the chicken into a large 3-quart casserole dish or on a foil lined baking sheet. Stir the remaining ingredients together in a medium bowl until fully combined and smooth. Adjust seasonings and sweetness to taste.
  • Pour the desired amount of sauce over the chicken. Place in preheated oven and bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes or until internal temperature is at least 160 degrees. For crispier texture turn the chicken over and cook another 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Let sit 5 minutes to cool slightly. Serve immediately
