Quick Keto Air Fried Jalapeno Popper Balls

This recipe is designed to teach everyone how to make quick keto air fried jalapeno poppers

Ingredients

  • 8 oz room temperature cream cheese, softened
  • 4 medium jalapenos, chopped into small pieces
  • 6 oz cooked and crumbled bacon more or less according to taste
  • 1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 154 grams shredded cheese (2 cups)
  • 105 grams golden flax seed meal
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1 TBS paprika
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 TBS milk of choice

Instructions

  • In medium mixing bowl stir together the cream cheese, jalapenos, bacon green onions and shredded cheese until fully combined. Set aside
  • In separate bowl combine the coconut flour and the paprika until fully combine. Set aside
  • In another bowl stir together the eggs and the milk until fully combined. Set aside
  • In a fourth bowl stir together the flax seed meal and the Parmesan cheese until fully combined
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop the cream cheese mixture out 1-2 TBS at a time onto the prepared baking sheet. Roll each scoop into a tight ball. Preheat Air fryer to 400 degrees. Lightly spray the bottom of the air fryer basket.
  • Place the popper balls one at a time into the bowl with the coconut flour mixture. Roll to fully coat the ball. Place the coated ball into the egg mixture and turn to fully coat. Place the coated ball into the flax meal mixture and turn to fully coat. place back onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat coating process until all the scoops are fully coated
  • Place ball in a single layer in to the air fryer. Cook 400 degrees 5 minutes. Check to make sure the poppers are not sticking to the air fryer. Cook another 5 minutes or until crispy on the outside. Open air fryer. Allow poppers to sit in the air fryer at least 5 minutes to firm up. Remove from the air fryer. Serve warm
