5 Minute Keto Cheese Sauce

This recipe is designed to teach everyone how to make 5 minute keto cheese sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 TBS butter
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tsp coconut flour
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum
  • 3 oz shredded cheese of choice
  • dry spices and seasonings of choice, optional

Instructions

  • Place butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat and stir until the butter fully melts. Add the milk and stir for 1 minute or until the milk is heated
  • Sprinkle in the coconut flour and stir until combined. Sprinkle in the xanthan gum and stir at least 30 seconds to fully dissolve the xanthan gum. Continue to stir for 3 minutes or until the sauce is bubbly
  • Gradually stir in the cheese in small amounts. Stir the cheese and allow to melt after each addition until all cheese is fully melted and sauce us smooth
  • Serve warm with chips, vegetables, nacho fries or food of choice. Allow leftovers to cool completely. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 1 week. Sauce thickens as it cools. If it becomes too thick warm on the stove or in the microwave until the sauce becomes smooth again
