Ingredients
60mllight soy sauce or liquid aminos (1/4 cup)
30mlrice vinegar or apple cider vinegar (2 TBS)
32gramsblack soybean paste or peanut/seed butter (2 TBS)
1tspgarlic powder
1/2tspChinese five spice powder
25gramsbrown sugar sweetener (2 TBS)
10mlketo hot sauce (2 tsp)
1/8tspxanthan gum or keto thickener of choice
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk together until fully combined. Keep whisking until mixture comes toa low boil and sauce has thickened. remove from heat use immediately or cool completely. Use as a dip or in any recipe that requires hoisin sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks
