5 Minute Keto Wontons Substitute

This recipe is designed to teach everyone how to make 5-minute keto wontons substitute.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz very soft room temperature cream cheese
  • 11 grams finely chopped green onions (2 TBS)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 8 inch keto tortillas of choice
  • oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees or preheat a large skillet with about 1/4 cup oil until heated. Place the cream cheese, onion, garlic, and salt in a small mixer bowl. Beat on medium-low for 20 to 30 seconds or until creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and set the bowl aside.
  • Cut the tortillas in half. Turn one tortilla so the straight edge is vertical. Scoop 1 1/2 tsp of the cream cheese mixture into the upper corner of the tortilla half. Fold the top corner over the filling. Fold over two more times until almost all the tortilla is folded. There should be a tortilla "tail sticking out. Keep the sides aligned at all times. Tuck the tortilla "tail" into the folded layers to create a package. (see video)
  • Repeat the filling and folding process until all the filling is used. Lightly spray the basket of the preheated air fryer with cooking spray. Place the wontons in the basket in a single later. Allow space between the wontons. Lightly spray the wontons with cooking spray.
  • Air fry at 350 degrees for 4 to 5 minutes or until golden and crisp. Open air fryer. Allow wontons to cool a couple of minutes to avoid burning the fingers. Remove from the air fryer and transfer to a serving plate of choice. Serve warm.
