Ingredients
60grams coconut flour (1/2 cup)
9grams xanthan gum (1 TBS)
1/2tsp salt
2tsp dry seasonings, optional
4ozwarm water (1/2 cup)
1tspmashed potato flavoring, optional
Nacho Seasonings
1TBSpaprika
1/2tspchili powder
1/2tsp garlic powder
1/2tsp onion powder
Instructions
Sift dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl until there are no lumps.. Stir in potato flavoring and warm water until a dough begins to form
Press dough together to form a smooth ball. Massage the dough for 30 seconds to make sure the ingredients are sticking together. Form the dough back into a ball and place back into mixing bowl Allow to sit 15 minutes to absorb any extra moisture. While the dough sits preheat an air fryer or oven to 400 degrees
After the dough has set for 15 minutes, line a clean worksurface with parchment paper. Place the dough on the parchment paper, Press or roll dough out to 1/4 inch thick rectangle. Cut the dough into desired size strips (think fry size) Roll or form each strip into a "fry" shape. Lightly spray the "fries" with cooking spray on all sides
Place the fries in a single layer in your air fryer drawer or on a lined baking sheet for baking. Air fry at 400 degrees for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden. If baking bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden
Nacho seasoning
While the fries are cooking, in a small bowl combine all the nacho seasoning ingredients. Use a fork and stir to fully combine the seasonings
Once the fries are cooked place them on a lines worksurface and sprinkle the desired amount of nacho seasoning onto warm fries. Make sure to turn the fries to fully coat all sides with the seasoning. Serve warm with dipping sauce of choice if desired
