How To Make Low Carb Gluten Free Tortillas

This recipe is designed to teach everyone how to make quick easy low carb gluten free tortillas

Servings 10 10 inch tortillas

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 6 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 TBS psyllium husk powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder, optional

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a large mixer bowl and whisk together until fully combined
  • Let the batter sit for 2 minutes to slightly thicken. The batter will still be runny
  • Preheat an 8-10 inch skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes. Spray pan with cooking oil.
  • Pour the batter 1/4c-1/3c at a time onto preheated skillet. As the batter is being poured tilt the pan from side to side so the batter will fully cover the bottom of the of the skillet
  • Cover the skillet and cook on medium for 2 minutes or until tortilla easily lifts on all sides. Carefully turn tortilla with a long spatula. Cover skillet and cook 1 more minute or until slightly brown on both sides
  • Spray skillet again with cooking spray and repeat until all the batter is used. Make sure the skillet is sprayed every time a new tortilla is made.

Notes

This recipe yields 8-10 tortillas/ 1 serving equals 1 tortilla
1 serving contains about 2.3 grams of net carbs
