15 Minute Keto Sweet Garlic Pork Chops or Chicken

This recipe is designed to teach everyone how to make 15-minute keto sweet garlic pork chops or chicken.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml olive oil or oil of choice (3 TBS)
  • 3 large carrots cut into 3 inch long strips
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless pork chops or chicken
  • salt, pepper, and dry seasonings of choice I use salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and ground ginger
  • 1 TBS butter
  • 80 grams keto maple syrup (1/4 cup)
  • 60 ml chicken broth or broth of choice (1/4 cup)
  • 30 ml apple cider vinegar (2 TBS)
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oil over medium high heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle the carrots with the salt, pepper and dry seasonings of choice, Stir to combine. Season the pork chops or chicken with desired seasonings. (I just use salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and ground ginger)
  • Add the chops/chicken to the skillet. cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until brown on the underside. Turn and cook another 4 to 5 minutes or until brown on both sides and the internal temperature is at least 145 degrees. If using chicken, the internal temperature should be at least 165 degrees.
  • Remove the chops/chicken and transfer to a plate (leave the carrots in the skillet). Push the carrots to one side of the skillet. Add the butter and allow it to fully melt. Add the syrup, broth, and vinegar. Stir to fully combine with the carrots. Cook 2 to 5 minutes or until the sauce is slightly thickened.
  • Place the chops back into the skillet and cook another 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through.

Notes
