Quick Keto Green Bean Casserole

This recipe is designed to teach everyone how to make quick keto green bean casserole

  • 14.5 oz cooked or canned green beans
  • 1 TBS butter
  • 1 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • desired amount of cooked or canned mushrooms, optional
  • desired amount of finely chopped cooked ham or bacon
  • desired amount of shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup dry keto bread crumbs or finely crushed pork rinds


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Place green beans in a medium saucepan over medium heat. If using canned green beans make sure they are fully drained and rinsed. Heat for about 3-5 minutes or until heated through
  • Add butter and cream cheese. Cooke stirring frequently over medium heat until the butter and cream cheese are fully melted
  • Turn off the heat and add the salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and mushrooms, if using. Stir to fully combine.
  • Transfer to a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Spread casserole evenly throughout the bottom of the dish
  • Sprinkle the desired amount of ham or bacon over the top. Sprinkle the desired amount of shredded cheese over the top of the ham or bacon.
  • Place in preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted
  • Sprinkle the bread crumbs evenly over the top of the casserole. Bake another 5 minutes or until heated through and the bread crumbs are lightly toasted. Serve hot
