10 Minute Keto Meat Pockets

This recipe is designed to teach everyone how to make 10-minute keto meat pockets

Ingredients

  • 12 oz seasoned sausage, or ground meat of choice
  • scrambled, eggs, bacon or filling of choice
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 TBS room temperature water
  • freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees for 3 to 5 minutes until warm. Divide the sausage into 4 three-ounce portions. Cut 4 mide pieces of parchment paper. Place one meat portion on each piece of paper. Cover the meat with another piece of parchment paper. Press or roll each meat portion into thin circles about 6 inches in diameter.
  • Place the filling of choice onto one half of each meat circle. grasp the parchment paper under the meat circle and guide the plain side of the meat circle over the filling. Press to seal the pocket. Pinch the edges of the pocket to seal completely. In a small bowl whisk together 1 large egg and 1/2 TBS until fully combined and yellow.
  • Brush the egg wash over the top of each pocket. Sprinkle generous amount of freshly grated parmesan cheese. Use the back of a spoon and gently tap the cheese into the egg wash. Cover the pocket with a fresh piece of parchment paper. Turn the pocket onto the fresh piece of parchment paper.
  • Use the parchment paper under the pocket and place the pocket and the paper into the preheated air fryer. Air fry 10 minutes until golden and the meat is fully cooked. Once cooked open the air fryer and allow the pocket to sit 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Use a large spatula and transfer the pocket to a serving plate and serve immediately.
