Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper. Cut foil into eight 6x6 squares. Mold the squares around the bottom of a bowl or large measuring cup. This will form a "holder" for the buns
In a medium mixing bowl whisk together almond flour, oat flour, vital wheat gluten, salt, yeast, onion powder and garlic powder until fully combined
In a large mixer bowl combine warm water, egg, oil and honey. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
Beat on low 15 seconds or until no dry ingredients are left in the bowl. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Change paddle attachment to dough attachment and beat on medium for 3 minutes
Lightly spray each foil holder. Scoop dough out 1/4c at a time into each foil holder. Spray hands and roll each portion into a ball
Cover baking sheets with sprayed plastic wrap. Place covered baking sheets in a warm draft free area. Let rise for 20 minutes
Uncover and bake for 10 minutes. Let buns cool in pan for 3 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Use immediately or place in an airtight container and freeze until ready to use.
