This recipe is designed to teach everyone how to make 3 ingredient keto strawberry syrup

Ingredients
12largestrawberries, chopped
1/3cupgranulated sweetener of choice
1/3cupwater
Instructions
Place ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat and stir to combine. bring to a simmer and simmer 12 minutes or until thickened. Stir the mixture occasionally while simmering. Place a mesh strainer over a medium bowl. Pour the mixture into the strainer.
Use the back of the spoon and press out as much of the syrup as possible. Pour into an airtight container. Allow to cool uncovered until the syrup comes to room temperature. Use to make strawberry milk or in any recipe that requires strawberry syrup.
For a thicker syrup add small amounts (1/8tsp at a time) of xanthan gum of keto thickener of choice. For best flavor allow to chill in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes. Store leftovers in airtight container in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
Strawberry Milk
To make strawberry milk stir 3 to 4 TBS of the syrup (or desired amount) into 8oz of the milk of choice until fully combined. If needed adjust sweetness to taste.
