Ingredients
1lblean ground beef
15oztomato sauce
102ml(7 TBS) room temperature water
29ml(2 TBS) apple cider vinegar,
29ml(2 TBS) Worcestershire sauce
45grams(3 TBS) tomato paste
32gram(2 1/2 TBS) brown monk fruit sweetener
1tspgarlic powder
1tsponion powder
1/2TBSground mustard
1/4tspsalt
1/4tsppepper
desired amount of lettuce of choice
shredded cheese and desired salad topping (optional)
Instructions
Place the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Chop the ground beef into small pieces. Cook stirring frequently 5 to 7 minutes until the n=beef is no longer pink. drain the excess fat from the beef. Add the remaining ingredients. Stir until the tomato paste is smooth and the sweetener is fully dissolved.
Bring the mixture to a low boil. Cover the skillet with a lid. Reduce the heat to low. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Once thickened, spoon the desired amount of sloppy joes onto the lettuce of choice. If desired top with topping of choice. Serve warm or at room temperature.
