Ingredients
1lbslean ground beef
28ozcrushed tomatoes
1TBSolive oil (15ml)
1tspbrown monkfruit sweetener or brown sugar sweetener of choice
1/2tsponion powder
1tspgarlic powder
1tspdry basil
2tspdry oregano
1/2tspsalt
1/4tsppepper
1/2tspdry red pepper flakesspice can be adjusted to taste
Instructions
Season and cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. While the beef is cooking use a wooden spoon and chop the beef into small pieces. Add the crushed tomatoes and olive oil. Stir to combined. Add the sweetener and remaining seasonings.
Adjust the seasonings and spice to personal taste. Stir to fully combine. Bring sauce to a boil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes until some of the liquid is reduced. Serve immediately over the keto pasta substitute of choice.
