Ingredients
10grams(2 TBS) whole psyllium husk
84grams(3/4 cup) coconut flour
1/4tspsalt
15grams(1 TBS) baking powder
1tspdry Italian seasoning
1tspgarlic powder
6grams(2 tsp) instant dry yeast
3largeeggs,room temperature
131mililiters(9 TBS) olive oil
30mlHOT water
30mlHOT coconut milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Grind the psyllium husk until it is half the volume. Place the ground husk into a large mixing bowl. Sift dry ingredients into the mixing bowl with the ground husk until there are no lumps. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients for 1 minutes until a wet dough forms. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and push to the center of the bowl.
Knead the dough in the bowl for 2 minutes until smooth and a ball forms. let the dough sit at room temperature for 15 minutes to absorb extra moisture. After 15 minutes, line a work surface with parchment paper. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions (about 1/4 cup dough in each portion)
Roll each portion into a smooth log about 6 inches long (or desired size) Place the dough logs onto prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Place in preheated oven. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden. Once baked, remove the breadsticks from the oven. Melt 2 TBS butter in a small bowl. Stir in 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp garlic powder until combined and smooth
Brush the garlic butter evenly over the breadsticks and allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving. These can be served warm or at room temperature.
