Ingredients
- 4 medium jalapenos
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 60 grams shredded cheese of choice (1/2 cup) I use Colby cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices bacon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly spray an oven fryer basket or line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. If using the baking sheet lightly spray the parchment paper
- Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise and use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and the center of the jalapenos. Place the remaining ingredients except the bacon into a medium mixing bowl and stir to fully combine
- Divide the mixture evenly throughout the jalapeno halves. Place the filled halves on to the prepared oven fryer basket or baking sheet. Wrap a slice of bacon around each of the jalapeno halves. Bake at for 20 to 25 minutes or until the bacon is fully cooked
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the pan at least 5 minutes before serving
