20 Minute Keto “Orange ” Chicken
This recipe is designed to teach everyone how to make 20 minute keto orange style chicken

Servings: 6 chicken thighs
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 TBS orange extract adjust to taste
- 1/4 cup rice or apple cider vinegar
- 1 TBS liquid aminos or soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sweetener of choice adjust to taste I use brown Swerve or brown monkfruit sweetener
- 1/4 tsp salt, optional
- 1/4 tsp pepper adjust to taste
- 1/2 tsp dry Chinese spices of choice
Instructions
- In a small bowl whisk together all ingredients except chicken until smooth
- Place chicken in a large Ziploc bag and pour marinade over chicken. Seal bag and turn bag to coat the chicken.
- Allow chicken to marinade at room temperature 15 minutes or in the refrigerator up to 2 hours
- Preheat a large skillet over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes or until hot
- Place chicken and marinade into preheated skillet
- Bring to a low boil and cook 10 minutes. Turn the chicken and cook another 10 minutes or until internal temperature is at least 165 degrees
- Remove from heat. Serve warm over vegetables of choice or rice substitute of choice
- For a thick sauce place ingredients except chicken into saucepan over medium heat. Add 1/4 tsp xanthan gum and stir until combined and smooth.
- Bring to a low boil. If needed whisk in more xanthan gum in small amounts until sauce is desired consistency
- Pour over chicken and cook as directed above
