I made a chicken carbonara using these noodles. No they don’t taste like spaghetti, but they did work in this recipe. Quite well in fact.
That’s great. These definitely do not taste like traditional spaghetti noodles, but they make a great substitute. I am so glad they worked for you
Have you tried making zucchini flour? I’m want to try it. It is interchangeable with coconut flour, one to one ratio. I bet these noodles would be great using zucchini flour! I just found you blog and I love it! Thank you!
You’re welcome. I am so glad you are enjoying my blog. I have not tried zucchini flour. Sounds interesting. I will have to look into that.
Drat. I was excited when I saw a coconut flour recipe for pasta. Alas. I cannot use it. Xanthan gum is a polysaccharide, a starch, and for medical reasons, I cannot have it.
You can replace the xanthan gum with psyllium husk powder or gelatin powder if you’d like. I hope this helps.
